Llewellyn ducked his head a little at that, not sure if she realized that it wasn’t that he didn’t see reason. It was just not a conversation route he wanted to go down with someone he’d just met. He wasn’t ready to have this conversation with his closer friends as it was, and he was forced to the only two times that he had. A lesson to be learned, as those who got to know better would find things that evoked thoughts and feelings involving what happened to his brothers would be met with resistance and outright avoidance.

The thanks get a small, awkward grin from him at least. “You’re welcome, I Uh— hope you stop into the bakery I mentioned. They have other good things as well.” He would have tipped his hat if he had it, but instead he could only gesture in a small wave of goodbye. “Until next time then, it was good to meet you.” And then he was off, shoulder’s hunched in his usual slouch as he walked.
