“Horses themselves aren’t too bad… They’re just hard to stay on, and sometimes rather pushy.” He responded with a wry smile. Other ways to get around had still been welcome changes. Then again, horses might not have been so difficult if he didn’t always have food on his person. It just made them curious and insistent about what was in his pockets.

The question gets a thoughtful hum as they walk. He supposed they hadn’t really seen bicycles at the Sphere. Perhaps he could find one here someday to show his husband. It was perhaps a little strange that there was so much they didn’t know or understand about each other’s worlds, but Llewellyn never minded… It was nice to know there were still things to learn about each other, and they wouldn’t run out of things to share. “Bicycles are these metal vehicles for getting around. Two wheels that are attached to a metal frame, propelled by the pedals that you work with your feet. Very convenient for getting around and uh— good exercise I suppose.”

Llewellyn had gotten his own after he started working at Murdoch’s station, he’d even gotten the man’s opinion on the one he bought… It had been one of his attempts at bonding a little with the older detective, he supposed. “The detective I worked with modified his, with sprockets to change gears and a light to make it easier to use it at night.”
