Ah… Now Ignis really had his attention. “Crab curry? I’ve never had it. But! I was recently introduced to another kind of curry in the last world I was in. It was something we got rather fond of.” By we, he meant him and his husband. It had become something of a treat when one of them brought dinner home from work. Now he was intrigued, and wondered if he might have to stop at this lodge and see if he could get some for him and Rhy some night… Once they figured out a few other things, of course. Once they had jobs and covered some of the more important necessities first, then they could enjoy eating out a little more again.

Which would be a great day… Neither of the men could really cook.

Llewellyn was pleasantly surprised to find the question was one that he could easily (and gladly) answer. Glancing at the baked good in his hand, he offered a smile. “Oh! Yes, of course. They’re called pretzels, uh…” He realized that didn’t really tell Ignis what they were, so much as the name. “They’re bread dough, rolled out and twisted into a knot. They’re put in a lye bath and then baked, usually with salt. At least they were in my world. I’ve more recently been introduced to a few other varieties that were all quite good too. Like dessert styled pretzels, or pretzels stuffed with cheese and seasoned.”
