Her question gets a rather surprised, curious glance from Llewellyn. “It gets answers, on how to help those around you or yourself if it’s your own emotions you can’t quite figure out… At least sometimes it does, not always, but… Sometimes.” He couldn’t deny the irritation though, he got frustrated often enough when he figure out his own feelings depending on what they were… Sometimes it was easier to just squash them down and try to move on if they were the unpleasant sort of feelings.
“… I think I’d take less interesting over that again, to be honest.” But he was quick to scribble down what she said for later, just in case… “So it’s more obvious than someone simply having a bad day…” He hummed a little, putting his pen back in his pocket for now. She’d given him a lot to start with, and he’d definitely be warning Rhy about a few of them… Just in case. They didn’t need to be taken by surprise by these sha things. Better to know what to do if it happened than to be blind and let it get out of hand…
Llewellyn grinned a little at what might have been a compliment. It felt like it might have been one, anyway. “Thanks, I think…? I do try to be smart about my investigations.” It was just that sometimes unexpected things happened, or he got carried away with trying to do what was right that he forgot about his own mortality in favour of prioritizing someone else’s. “I’ll have to see if they’ll be willing to talk to me then, I’m uh— not known for always making the best impression depending on the person, but it’s worth as shot.” But he’d tried to find out a little more about them before he approached, to ask around and see if he could figure out anything important about them that he needed to know to avoid sticking his foot in his mouth.
With a small, slightly embarrassed laugh, Llewellyn shook his head. “I can’t deny that might be smart for me… I don’t make the best cup of tea as it is, coffee might be best left to those who know what they’re doing too.”
