They may need the variety and the best way to ensure that is to make the choice random. To choose themselves might influence the sorts of people they bring in, and they might not be able to think of ‘everything’ quality they need at the time.

… Though if it’s something you’re worried might be a sensitive topic involving those in charge, or that you aren’t sure if there’s enough evidence to back something up, sometimes talking about it with one person first isn’t a bad thing. Especially if it involves our hosts, I’m not entirely sure how much they pay attention yet.
