It's really not, but I guess some people aren't just built for it. [ Maybe some were built for pushing people that really needed it. Or at the very least pretending that they were happier than they were so that everyone else kept going. At least she generally managed to be gentle with her pushing. One might even go so far as to say calculated, but she'd steadfastly deny that part. ]
I guess I'll have to look over the tellphone then. [ Her tone at the word tellphone betrays just how silly she thinks the name is. It's amusing to say the least. ] I've got a few other places I think I may be able to look for some information. [ Maybe information that other people can't quite get on their own. At least she really hoped she could. She'd already gotten a feel for the place just by wandering around and it definitely had something to say. She just had to coax that something out, simple as that, right?
She let out a little laugh and hummed in agreement. ] You hit the nail on the head. It can be hard to get used to but it is...nice. [ If not...worrisome. For just a second that worry leaked into her tone before she managed to push it away. There wasn't a reason to dwell on what she knew about the future that much anymore. Was there? ]
Ah, a club runner I see. Important person. [ She teased a bit, but she did find it interesting at the very least. She couldn't really imagine doing something with a group like that. Not that she hadn't wanted to, it was more that... well, as a kid a lot of people had found her really weird. She was pretty sure a lot of people found her weird now but they'd just gotten used to that weird. Besides, as she'd gotten older she'd been able to give them useful things like herbs and flowers. Can't hold the weirdness against a girl that was so bright and helpful. ]
Don't worry, I don't think I'd be too interested in paying much attention to either of those things either. People that like science seem to get too caught up in it. [ Was that a hint of something she actually....didn't...like...? Yes. And her entire tone got a lot more serious with the admission too. ]
