Llewellyn offered a slightly small, thoughtful smile as his husband shook his head, “Maybe not good, I suppose… But we’re at least a little experienced. I think if we can work out what to expect from this world, along with getting what we need done to provide for ourselves, we’ll might be alright.”

It was odd, but if the subject were to be brought up, Llewellyn probably would have had to admit to being of a similar mind there. Things were different when you had a loved one around, so rather than throw himself into whatever sort of casework he could find, Llewellyn was more focused on other priorities.

He picked away at his food as he considered other things. Clearly not even today could stunt his appetite. “I’m going to try to find out what I can about this place, if there are things we should worry about… Er— Once we follow through with the first things on our current list, that is.”

He was eager to see their accommodations, after all. That in itself might shift priorities or focus on the list.
