Just got a little startled, really.” He responded, checking his bag of baked goods a moment later. “Should’ve been paying more attention to my surroundings, but I just found this lovely bakery and I suppose I was a little distracted by the find.” He added, gesturing behind him.

Then the detective paused, seeming to think for a moment. He was considering the directness of their collision course carefully, “I… don’t suppose you were heading that way yourself? If you weren’t I do recommend it where it seems to be in the same direction of your destination. The quality and selection are both quite good.”
