So definitely not the normal, standard earthquake. Perhaps it had been too much to hope for, but he knew he had enough to feel thankful for upon arriving here. He’d simply have to be mindful and not let himself get too carried away.

“Uncover more parts of the city. So… It’s more like the world is suffering some sort of strange growing pains. How odd.” That was definitely not what Llewellyn expected to hear concerning earthquakes, and yet… Things appearing in a world that weren’t there before? Not a first, so while it’s still pretty weird, it’s better than things being destroyed or disappearing. Unless that was coming… It had last time. He frowned lightly to himself, adjusting his hold on the tellphone. “How large-scale are these additions? Are they fully formed, and how does the local population react to them?”

Sorry, Yuki. Llewellyn was the sort to ask a lot of questions, and trying to get his feet under him in a strange new world was a priority. For all he was happy to be here, he didn’t want to be caught off guard too badly this time if he could help it.

The subject of monsters get’s an awkward sigh, yup. There was the other shoe, he supposed. But this was still good information, the more he and Rhy knew to be mindful of, the better. “Don’t be sorry, there’s no need.” He responded, a tad bluntly… He had a bit of a knee-jerk reaction when it came to being apologized to, he’d been working on that. His tone softened a bit, “It’s better that I know now than later when it’s too late. I’ll need to find somewhere I can do some reading on the subject, if I can. I don’t suppose you’d have a recommendation?” He offered, trying to lighten his voice a little.

Belatedly… Something else struck him. Sir… Llewellyn was vaguely reminded of a colleague that was prone to defaulting to ‘Sir.’ It made him a little nostalgic, but the point was that he’d forgotten to give this helpful stranger is name. “Oh— and I forgot, I should introduce myself. My name is Llewellyn Watts-Maresh.”
