Hello! I am G'raha Tia, and I am but recently arrived to this world. I am given to understand that this device will put me in contact with others in the same situation. I understand that not much is asked of us, but given that we are all in this together, I would very much like to get to know you all. If you would rather meet face-to-face, you can currently find me near the apartments we have been so kindly provided. It should prove quite easy to spot me, as my feline features seem to be vanishingly rare among the populace here.

I worked hard to earn it. [ Might as well use it now and then. Even if some parts of it bothered her deep down. ] More agreeable than some worlds I've been to. It's less hostile than Limbo. Though, it seems it's rulers do not have much of a clue on what they're doing.

Hmm. 'Tis a difficult thing, to rebuild a world pushed to the brink of ruin like this. Rarely is there ever anywhere to turn to in search of guidance. They seek first to build a safe and stable community from which to grow, and I think it a wise first step on their part.

Is that what you think they did? Planed out the building of a safe and stable community to work on cultivating? I'm not so convinced they had that much forethought.

What do you believe we were brought here to do, if not to help foster the community?

I'm not certain. I can't help but wonder if it wasn't all just an accident.

An accident? I find that most unlikely. To summon even a single person from beyond the rift, with both soul and body intact is no small feat. It takes an immense amount of power and precision. I feel no reason to doubt that we were brought here purposefully.

Is it really that hard? I do it on my own on a daily basis. [ Although, much to her frustration, she was mostly trapped here. ] It might be easier to believe they brought us here with purpose if they hadn't broken something and permanently left some sort of portal open.

Or the portal was left open purposefully so that our population would continue to grow. I understand that you are likely irritated to have been brought to a world that is not your own without your consent and denied any right to leave, but the lack of consideration on the part of our hosts ought not be mistaken for a lack of competence.

You assume a lot for knowing so very little. A suggestion, perhaps research more and listen to those who have been here longer. Unless you enjoy being naïve, I know some do. To each their own.

[ She sighs with a bit more exasperation than one should. ] The Aspects themselves admitted they attempted to use the portal to return us home and instead caused it damage. They admitted their attempts to use something they understood nothing of has left it cycling with them unable to close it or even know what it might bring next. [ A pause. ] It brought a small demon from my own world to this place. It injured many people. My world has much worse things than the Demon Bear. Forgive me if I seem annoyed that their incompetence might force those worse things into this new world.

So it would seem. You said the Aspects did not create the portal, correct? Have they said who did?

They said the Creator did. However, it seems they lost contact with said Creator. They gave little information on whom or what it was either. I believe they may not know much more than we do.
