Okay, everyone, I can't take the silence anymore. What's the consensus on the party Halcyn's throwing? It smells like a trap to me, but that's never kept me from a good time.

The locals are chatty. They will explain if you ask them and seem interested enough. I doubt there is any truth to what they seem afraid of, but they seemed convinced.

Hauntings. Something about ghosts of people they knew returning if they were not offered a meal on the alters.

Not this far, no, but I've been to one that doesn't follow the same rules.

It's probably had a lot of names over the centuries, but right now, we call it the Nevernever. It has a lot of pocket places, and it's where almost all non-human entities originate. I've been told there are things from Elsewhere, but that's way too Eldritch for my tastes. I'll stick with normal monsters.

You are intelligent to be wary of the Eldritch. They are abominations that require extreme measures to be dealt with.

I would suggest staying away from all pocket places. None bring anything good.

I usually only get drawn into things like that because someone else does something stupid, so don't worry about me.

Yeah, he's a Big Damn Hero. And he's a wizard, too, which means when he goes big he...reanimates a T-Rex skeleton to ride into battle.
