Okay, everyone, I can't take the silence anymore. What's the consensus on the party Halcyn's throwing? It smells like a trap to me, but that's never kept me from a good time.

Definitely a trap. Or trying to gain public approval after what they did. [ Sounded like something people in power would do. ] Parties are always a great place to pick up information though.

The locals are chatty. They will explain if you ask them and seem interested enough. I doubt there is any truth to what they seem afraid of, but they seemed convinced.

I don’t doubt there’s some ulterior motive behind the party, but who can say no to a good time and some potential excitement to spice it up?

As for the alters? I hadn’t given them much thought, most people have traditions to honour those gone.

It's a collection of a lot of different traditions, but most recently, it's become a night where kids dress up in costumes and go door to door begging for candy and adults wear costumes as an excuse to throw a party and drink heavily.
