A meeting
Who; Hendrik & Syeira - closed
What; A bear is on the loose
Where; The park
When; During bear rampage season
Warnings; None?
Hendrik was out on the lookout for a demon bear. He'd heard stories from concerned citizens at the tavern and even the townspeople were alarmed. So being a sworn knight of Heliodor, he had to do something. After all 'A knight of Heliodor does not turn his back on those in need.' So he was out to find this nefarious creature and lay it out. Not for any glory or personal gain, but to ensure that others were safe.
And as he was out, he thought he heard someone crying. Bears didn't cry right?
So the knight turned a corner and saw a blonde head of hair partially hidden behind a bush. He didn't recognize the person, but this one somehow didn't seem like a marauding beast. Hendrik didn't know what to say but he wasn't about to get mouthy either. So he stood a few feet from her, feeling a little awkward.
"May I escort you to safety? There have been reports about a bear that has slain people. And I have no wish to see you come to harm."

She can't save anyone, she couldn't even save herself.
His voice was deep and sudden, pulling her attention from the past and into the present. Syeira turned, lifting her chin to see an unfamiliar man. "You were speaking to me?" Her gaze was unfocused, dark hazel eyes rimmed with red but glistening with tears. "I'm sorry. I- t can't. It isn't here. I don't- see it."
no subject
Protecting others was a knight's calling after all.
"It is not here at the moment, but the townspeople are quite concerned. And no one quite knows when or where it may appear next." So this is the part where Hendrik couldn't quite bring himself to order her to get up or move. But if the bear appeared here, of course he would act as a knight of Heliodor.
