Waver was counting to ten in his head as the person who he’d nearly collided with took their leave rather quickly. What was with his luck sometimes? he mused as he crouched to retrieve his bag. He didn’t expect anyone to help, either, let alone someone who hadn’t been involved in the near collision in the first place. So he was a little surprised when Nida approached.
