Good day all! There are two things I would like to share with you. It seems I am not alone in being someone to have gained these strange boxes of soil. I just wished it to be known that if you are not certain of where you wish to grow your gift plant, I have a solution.

Friend Yuki and I have long since built a greenhouse upon the roof of the Blue Building. At this time of year many of the other plants are finishing growth cycles and there is space. It is sheltered and warm, and a good place to try your hand at growing a plant!


Beyond that please know that the forge is often busy come the winter months at making things for gifting. If you wish to make a commission before the gifting season, or to improve your tools and weapons before winter, it is wise to come see us soon at Bay Blades to ensure we will have time.

In fact, I am a journeywoman in the craft now, and would be glad to take commissions. I particularly like any work that allows me to do small, fancy details. It is very rewarding!

That's a wonderful offer! I think I'd very much like to take it! I know that we don't really know what it might be but...I'd still like to go through with planting it. [ Just to find out and if others are going to plant theirs there then it seemed maybe a bit safer? ]

From what I've seen on the network, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has one of those gifts. But you say the greenhouse can grow things even in the Fall?

Oh yes. It provides a warm place where plants can retain their ability to grow in warmth. We keep it slightly humid too, so they do not lose too much moisture. And care for them regularly. But we would ask you to learn to care for your own plants.

I agree completely! I had a whole little garden back home on the roof of my school. I quite miss it here, honestly. I particularly miss my attempts at growing coffee beans, it may not have been the best ever but it was satisfying to try.

For myself, I have a rather large request I think. I'd like a heavy weighted scythe for combat purposes. If that wouldn't be too complicated of a request?

You are welcome very much to make use of the greenhouse. Most of what we grow is either food or medicinal, and is offered to those who are of less substantive means. We wish to help.

A scythe? For combat? I shall definitely be able to think of something for that. My people were more of the laser sickle opinion for honorable combat, but I can understand the value of a scythe.

It's one of the weapons I used back home. I also made quite a bit of use out of a large axe. I've never seen or heard of a laser sickle though! I would be quite interested in seeing something like that. Though I don't suppose you have anything like that here.

The greenhouse might be good for such things. We would happily give space.

I do not think I could make one here, and it was not my weapon of choice. It is used for ceremonial duels. But I shall see what I can do for you.

Oh yes, very busy. The smithy is always so busy. And I love plants. Busy days are fun!

That's quite alright, even if it might have been interesting to see. What was your weapon of choice then?

We are open dawn to dusk, so those times are suitable at the forge.

I have used guns, explosives, and war hammers. Bu I am trained in many methods of fighting.

Oh that sounds quite a bit like what I used back home too. Though, I imagine you're much better than I am. I've never had any official training.

I was engineered to be a soldier, so it is possible. But I am happy to try and give pointers if you require them.

What's a typer-writer?

They are like computers, but they only put out what you put into them. This means you hit keys and it makes little letters appear.
