The thing about Persona is they tend towards being quite used to manoeuvring groups, given Yusuke and Goemon were a part of a large team that generally dealt with multiple enemies. So Goemon was large, yes, but Leon didn’t have too much to worry about when it came to an attack from an ally, unless there was a spell effect that was controlling them directly or some other outside factor. The persona’s aim would be on the enemies alone. Yusuke would not have attacked thoughtlessly. If he were prone to being thoughtless, he would have used an ice attack and risked making the terrain more slippery.

Having each other’s back was definitely something that ‘Fox’ could agree on. You watched out for your teammate and they watched out for you.
