It was the signal that caught the wizard's attention. Harry had a normal routine, sure, but sometimes he had clients that hired him to look into things, and recently, a concerned citizen had been complaining about fluctuations in the the power array heading in to their apartment buildings. Evidently, they'd made a few complaints to the guard who'd been 'less than helpful', and they were wondering if the resident wizard would be willing to do something about it. Harry was only too happy to oblige, seeing as they were paying customers, and he assumed he'd only be finding rats gnawing wires or something more mundane.

Until his senses, tuned to any sort of supernatural vibrations that might be interrupting his client's power supply, caught wind so to speak of a fluctuation he couldn't ignore. He shook his shield bracelet free from the sleeve of his calf-length leather coat, straightened the hat he received from a rather charming little boy, one that he'd imbued with protective charms to match those woven into his coat, and took a step down the alley.

He hadn't anticipated finding the boy in question at the end of it.

"Mono?"
