From what I understand there are various businesses in the market that offer employment. Most appear to require trade skills of some kind, if you posses any of those. I'm afraid I have little experience with traditional employment myself so my advice is rather limited.
You might be surprised what skills you have that could be translatable. I have heard of someone learning from the blacksmith here, there's someone that runs a delivery service, a few people have found employment cooking or cleaning kitchens, and one woman opened a flower shop I believe. If you have any experience with any of those things you should be able to find something.
That's a unique answer. But I like it! I've got some part time positions available. It's nothing much, just mostly handling order pickups and sometimes running the registers.
No problem, anything to help a newcomer. This place can be disorienting. If you need anything else at all, I've got an office down in the Market District. Just ask around for Harry Dresden, the wizard. Or, you know, you can look me up on here, too.

I have less confidence that I'd be that good dealing with people.
