"I...hope it's only an it. Perhaps that's foolish of me as well." The truth was that she did not want to think of it as being real in the slightest. Something inside of her twisted at the thought, as if it were trying to tell her just how wrong she was. They were real. The other them's seemed to exist in some real and meaningful way which was awful for her to think about. Awful and just confusing. Where had they come from? Were they from an entirely different world? If so, then that would imply that another version of her father existed there. Perhaps a version like the one in his Palace. That was not something she wanted to know about. Or experience ever again.
"Though...we did experience an alternate reality back home." Of course, she hadn't mentioned much about that to him. It was ...entirely too complicated to have gotten into and she had already told him so much about the future. It seemed strangely relevant now though, at least in terms of providing some sort of evidence that other versions of themselves could exist in another world. This seemed to be on a bigger scale than what Maruki had done though. Which was...rather frightening to think about.
She frowned deeply at his admission and then looked down awkwardly at her feet. "I...so did I. I know I came from..." she pointed to the right. "That way. Or...I think I did!" She most certainly should not have phrased it as 'know' because she really didn't. Her face scrunched up and she let out a huff. "This place all seems so very similar. Much like mementos but without a navigator." If only Futaba was here. She would certainly be able to figure a way out of this place!
"I suppose...all we can do is start in a direction and hope for the best."
