Her back tensed, her shoulder blades pinching together as the familiar presence prickled against her senses. Enis remembered their first interaction clearly and a little part of her regretted the way it had ended. Even with that regret, she knew that placed in that situation again, she'd likely react the same way.

It had been overwhelming but things were easier now. Her senses had remained heightened but it no longer left her gasping in pain.
