"Right? You might accidentally set someone flying in a windstorm when you meant to cure them from slow." Which would arguably be a tiny bit funny. Just a tiny bit though! And only if it meant that nobody was actually too hurt. "Much sterner stuff. You know, I could have been a SOLDIER." Unlike Cloud he had absolutely no way of proving that wasn't true so she could totally joke about it. "I'll be fully recovered once I get this diabolic sand off." It was definitely diabolic, it had plotted all of this. The beach was out to get them.
"It better know!" Stranger things had definitely happen, so maybe the sand had learned it's lesson. She looked vaguely smug about her victory against the uncool. Obviously it was a victory that was hardly fought for her.
"Hmm...that's surprising. I'd always thought people saw pirates as the complete opposite of uncool. Are you sure it was the pirate part?" Maybe his friend had said something wrong. "How'd he approach them?" Were his lines utterly horrible? That might've just been the problem and not him being a pirate.
"The diabolical weather strikes again!" Now she was certainly convinced that it was out to get them both. It'd ruin all of their plans! She couldn't help but chuckle a bit at his reaction. "Did...you get them a tank... to live in?"
