Mono definitely didn’t mind focusing on the game at least. The kid’s attention-span was easy enough to move from the conversation to trying to reach the ball in time to bounce it back to Tommy again. “Yeah, we can do that! It’s really fun, I like it a lot.” He responded with another little grin on his part. This was a good time, and Tommy was fun to hang out with alongside the sometimes more serious conversations like they just had.
