Jake wiped his palms on his pants before gesturing for Terra to follow him into the shop. It was primarily a woodworking space but there was also an area for storage and a small counter set up to process orders. "You don't need that." Jake grinned. "I believe you plus this will be a bit different. You'll have to price these things up but Garry can teach you the in's and out's of that."
He really didn't like the pricing aspect of the job.
"You'll also need to estimate the time that it'll take while taking all of the other orders into account. And maybe lift things or organize deliveries." Jake stopped talking and looked up at Terra with a raised eyebrow. "You have a lot of jobs. Think you can handle this too?" He was smiling but there was a slight seriousness to the question. It sucked being the only one here other than Garry.
Plus Garry was aging and Jake wasn't sure he could keep working in the shop, which meant that his workload would increase.
