Ignis should really tell him that he's spoiling Julia. Sure Nida would do it again anyway because, well, a peacock cat had to be spoiled or they would leave their keeper. They wanted to be treated like little queens and kings, and Nida wasn't going to drive his little lovely away.

"Whatever he makes, it's going to be filling and good for us," Nida observed with a smile. "And there'll be plenty of it, won't there, Iggy? We've got a big day and that needs big energy. So Mono and I will stay out of your hair by having him help make sure i'm not going to get eaten."

Then he realizes the observation and joke isn't going to mean as much to the kid and winces.

"Not that they eat people. I just don't get on with Ignis's bird much. Hibiscus has gotten used to me, though."
