Glad that she trusted him enough to hang onto it for her, he smiled and carefully took it to tuck in the side of his bag to return when she needed it. “Excellent, I promise to give it back whenever you need it.” He responded gently, not wanting her to worry about that. It would make things a lot easier while she ate too, which wasn’t too far off by the looks of it as he saw a familiar cart off to one side of the market square.
Shifting their path slightly to the sidewalk, he glanced at her again. “And here we are. I’m going to get us each a cone. Can you keep Pretzel company so he doesn’t get lonely?” He asked, hoping to save Luna standing in a line in one of the more crowded areas of the market.
He’d found a nice bench for them to sit on while they ate and giving Pretzel the command to sit. He slipped his billfold out of the bag as well, before setting it on the bench if she needed to grab her pad while he was purchasing their ice cream.
