Llewellyn came to a stop when she let go of his head, having figured out by now that if she did that, then she likely had something to say or something had come up that needed attention. His head tilting down and turning to see which it might be, he noted her writing quickly on her pad of paper and waited to see what might be on her mind.

While he waited, he crouched next to her to be on eye level for when she was finished, because he used to find it incredibly frustrating when trying to talk to adults and they just looked down on you all the time… And he was very tall, which was hard to forget.
