Enis scoffed. "That's a first for me." She was shit at giving advice and even more shit at following advice. Even so... she was starting to care about this disaster of a detective and she didn't want to see him hurting like this. It made her incredibly uncomfortable.

This whole conversation was uncomfortable but she was here and trying.

Her throat cleared awkwardly and she lowered her voice. "Me too." She looked down at her glass, unwilling to look at Llewellyn. "You have been a... good-" This was weird. "A friend. You've been a friend." Enis didn't have a clear basis of comparison but she was trying to not suck at this.

"If anyone makes you feel bad, tell me. I'll kill them for you." She was still cultivating her powers but she was confident that she could protect Llewellyn. It also helped that she knew where he was at all times.
