He kept fussing with some daffodils that had been requested for it specifically. Frowning lightly as he tried to get them to sit in a pleasing manner, perhaps more fussy than was strictly necessary...

But he’d been like this since he got back, saying it was nothing more than being professional about his job and holding things to high standards. He had a week of lost time to make up for, after all! Really, it was just him trying to find a semblance of control and normality when everything had felt very much the opposite before his return.
His head shot up in some alarm that he’d write off as surprise as he heard someone calling out to him. His shoulders tensing slightly, before he spotted a familiar face heading towards him. “Ah- Yuki, good afternoon.” He offered in greeting, finally turning his attention away from the display properly other than his hand still messing with the greenery lightly.
