Yuki was bringing some of the flowers he'd grown from the rooftop to Aerith. It was a beautiful day and he needed to ask her advice on a few different things now that he was sort of the owner of a home with Jacob.

Today was a day off from work so he thought there probably wasn't a better time to just go on and do such a thing so here he was. He'd been looking around the new house and had already moved his meager possessions in. And one of the first things he'd done was spoken to the chocobo stable master to get just the right conditions to have a makeshift pen for Haru at the new place. Fortunately what was there already was leakproof so it hadn't taken a lot of work to get it all set up. A garden was next.

But as he was shifting his flowers from one arm to another, Yuki thought he spied a very familiar hat. That was when he started running, trying to keep that hat within his vision, hoping he wasn't just seeing things. A few flower petals had drifted off of their original flowers, but at the moment he didn't care.

He stopped just a few paces before the man and called. "Detective Watts?"
