"I...haven't had much experience with people my own age so my social skills may be a bit lacking..." Though there was a certain edge of disappointment in hearing someone else tell her that. She'd known her social skills were lacking but it did feel a bit embarrassing to know just how awful they must be. She shook her head at his suggestion. "It would be nice if that were the case. Most at very least respect me due to my family name, but there are certainly quite a few that put up protest." They may have respected her family name and her own talents but questions related to her age and relationship status came up too often.

"That's good to hear that everyone seems to get along decently." It seemed a bit surprising given the variety of people, but again, she had no reason to think he wasn't being honest. She blinked at the bluntness of his statement but then nodded, truthfully she could appreciate it.

"How shameful for them to allow themselves to be put in such a position." She shook her head. Had they tried before with whatever had happened to this world that required all this outside help? Or had they always been a group of people that tried to leave it to others to clean up? "I suppose I should be used to taking the responsibility of cleaning up the mess of others."
