"Thank you." She gave a curt nod. At his question she shifted a bit uneasily, unsure of how to answer his question.
"I'd like to think I'm very far from being an old adult," she finally responded. "According to the law however, I'm not legally an adult yet." That would be twenty, at least in the year she came from. Which, in a way, was a tiny bit frustrating given the requirements she had for running the company. The legalities of it all had ben enough to give anyone a headache.
"Though, I doubt it really matters much here, does it?" At least it hadn't seemed like something that would particularly matter here.
"That is ridiculous. What would they do if we weren't here then?" Nothing? Just let the bad things kill them? It seemed utterly stupid.
