monochromatically: (I dunno)

The question seemed kind of weird. Did learning to climb up and down well really not make sense? Well… Mono supposed it was probable that most people didn’t need to learn stuff like this. But in his world it was useful, there was so much to run from, and sometimes escape could only be found by climbing. Especially with so much of the place in shambles, buildings and roads alike. His answer is a little more careful. Of course, adults got weirdly worried when they learned that. “Um… It makes getting around places easier, and faster!”

He pushed himself up and rubbed the side of his face. There was a small scrape, and a bruise was already forming. The kid didn’t seem bothered, though. It could always be worse. “Yeah, I’m okay, I’m just clumsy.” He was glad the fall hadn’t happened on the way down the stall. That would be embarrassing to admit to his teacher. This was just him being clumsy as usual. “Yeah, but you might not have gotten it back if I didn’t!” He responded as though that made perfect sense, before digging the paper out of his pockets to present to her victoriously.
