Llewellyn had to smile a little at that. It fit the mental image he’d developed of Ghost rather well since meeting him and Jon. The wolf was rather patient considering how excitable Pretzel had been upon seeing the larger canine again.

But on the subject of Rose and Pretzel, the detective nodded. “I believe they will. They just need to mm… adjust to one another. Pretzel’s rather stubborn about making friends, so it isn’t as though he’ll be deterred by her rather… impressive display.” Llewellyn ended with a joking smile at the flailing that the chocobo was doing over Pretzel’s sneeze. “He never figured out that Illyana’s imps don’t like them, and they threw tomatoes at him.” He added with a wry tone, shaking his head at the hound. The silly thing had thought they were giving him some snacks.

“Come on, Pretzel.” He added with a smile, giving the dog a signal to start walking with them. Llewellyn was happy to keep the pace slow and leisurely, for Rose’s sake. It gave them a chance to speak anyway, and he’d been meaning to see her since their flower day. Pretzel was quick to hurry after the group, trotting along dutifully at their heels with his tail wagging lightly as he looked at Rose again to make sure she was there.

Taking a moment or two to see how the two got along while they walked, Llewellyn eventually shifted his attention slightly to speak with Inesa while he watched them. “Are you and Jon settling in alright? I’ve, uh- been meaning to see how your day went after I left when we made those flower crowns.”
