Inesa struggled to stand. Her legs were numb and as soon as she rose to her feet, pins and needles prickled from her her toes to her thighs. She weighted against Llewellyn's side, using his hand to keep herself steady. Another few minutes passed before Inesa finally released her sweet friend and stood without wobbling or falling over.
"Ah." Her cheeks flushed. "Thank you Mr. Llewellyn. I do not know what I would do without you." She'd likely have fallen over.
There was a soft chirp from the basket as the two little Chocbo's began to stir. They didn't look like they were planning to move from their little basket perch but their dark black eyes were staring at the strange dog. It was a staring contest, one that Lancelot decided to sleep through. "It is alright little ones." Inesa knelt next to the basket with a sweet smile. "This is Pretzel. He will be your friend starting today." The Chocobo chick cooed though it didn't really look like it understood what Inesa was saying, it was just happy that she was talking to them.
