Pretzel’s tail wiggled happily, snuffling at Lancelot in return as he slipped his head over the edge of the basket carefully. Definitely giving the general vibe of Hello, friend! It’s good to see you again!
Llewellyn tilted his head slightly at the display, rather fond of how well the animals got along. His attention slipped to Inesa. She definitely looked as though she’d had her hands full with the chicks. Perhaps they’d been trying to preen her hair with their beaks. He could almost picture that as he eyed the messy breads. “I can well imagine you do.” He responded to her comment about standing. The detective wasn’t particularly good at sitting still... And she had clearly been there a while.
“You’re welcome. I um- brought some snacks for them when they wake up. Lancelot and Pretzel too.” He commented, eyes drifting to the chicks again. “I’m sure with a good nap, they’ll all be ready to run around again.” The birds seemed to practically be made to run around, from how fast he’d seen them around the city. He heard there were chocobo races too, like horse races, but Llewellyn didn’t go near that part of the complex, given he heard people bet on the races. Best for him to avoid temptation, old habits could be dangerous.
