Early February!

Llewellyn was constantly out and about. It was actually strange to not see him wandering around the city. Yes, he had his own desk and space at the gullwings office… But he did his best thinking and work out on the streets. He was just more comfortable outdoors and had been for a very long time. It was probably a habit he’d never quite break. Today he was actually out for other reasons, lunch being one as he had a bag of soft pretzels under one arm, and the other being to take a fuzzy hound by the same name for a good walk to tire him out a bit.

Humming to himself, he adjusted the collar of his new winter coat that Rhy had helped him pick out and done the detail work on. Dark turquoise, with embroidered detailing in complementary colours along the trim and sleeves, scrolling around the pockets where he then pulled out a pair of gloves to put on. His gray homburg settled snug over his curls and a scarf hanging loosely in a loop around his neck.

It was, all in all, a nice enough day. Almost relaxing compared to January’s chaos, and he was about to turn down a sidestreet with Pretzel when the dog caught a familiar scent. This had been happening a lot of late, what with a surprising influx of arrivals… All of them familiar, and all of them people they both were glad to see. But Pretzel’s nose tended to pick up on it first, and it set the dog to bounding off.

And where he was on a leash, it meant dragging Llewellyn along with him.

So John would be met with the comical sight of a basset hound (grown some since their last meeting, it had been a while) dragging a clumsily stumbling Llewellyn Watts-Maresh behind him. “Pretzel! Stop! Slow down, heel!” He spouted a few of the commands the dog knew well enough and usually listened to (when it suited him) to no avail.

Of course, when he spotted the large wolf and Jon? It didn’t take him long to realize what the pup was so excited about, and reacted rather quickly as he stumbled to a halt as the pup let out some eager barks. “Jon??” He blinked in surprise, before a smile in greeting crossed his face. It faltered a bit, though, as he tried to work out if he just made a mistake like he had with Enis again. She hadn’t remembered him and that had gotten awkward very fast. Hopefully Jon would be like Inesa, instead, and remember his time at the Sphere.
