Pretzel wasn't the best watch dog but he was so cute that Enis couldn't bring herself to wake him up. Instead she focused on the journal in her hand, sparing Pretzel an occasional glance and a soft smile. He had skillfully wormed his way into her heart and while she didn't ever see herself as a pet owner, it was nice to have another living create around her.
One that couldn't talk back.
Enis watched Llewellyn walk in as if she was expecting him. She didn't say anything but was staring directly at him when he finally turned around and met her gaze.
He was a lot of fun to startle...
"I broke in." She answered as if it was blatantly obvious and it was ridiculous that he had to ask her that. "I wanted to know who my neighbor was." Fate had a strange sense of humor. "Then I started to read your things. You need to learn to write better." She would not believe that he was teaching someone anything to do with writing.
