faithfulsupport: (Half surprised half curious)

Of course Ignis listened to all of the details with his scholarly mind. It was interesting to hear of something else being celebrated besides christmas. And he had heard of the Winter Solstice from a few people. But no one seemed to be fighting over which holiday was the correct one as some folks seemed to suggest which helped out. "And on each of these eight days, is there a gift exchange? Or is it simply food and games?" He wasn't going to write any of this down in front of Llewellyn, but Ignis was going to make a note or two to study it further to appease his scholarly curiousity.

The advisor found he'd snacked on more pretzels than he'd planned to while listening respectfully, but of course he had more just waiting to be eaten. And of course he might try to start quietly asking about these Latkes. But when Llewellyn apologized for a recipe, he only smiled. "Well I will see what I can find out."

Hearing about the marriage only made him smile. "Perhaps the two of you can celebrate your wedding anniversary here along with the season." And if he could, he'd plan an anniversary dinner for them, just them two. But that was a discussion for another day and another time.

At hearing about the roses, he had to think. "I can't say I've ever heard of a golden rose. But if one could be cultivated here, that would be delightful." He nodded along to hearing more about Rhy and was especially interested in hearing about this new hybrid of rose that Llewellyn knew of. "I can't say I've ever heard of a tea rose." And he searched his memory banks at getting the details of what would've been Noct's wedding but the bride was going with her native blue Sylleblossoms.
