Ignis just smiled as Mono seemed to be pretty happy with the way that things were turning out. It was something he'd told Noct once about protecting people. Well the people back home had been a part of the Lucian kingdom. And while Mono or anyone else might not be from there, it made sense in his head to at least try to assist the people that he could. Of course should any of the lads from home find out he'd deny it. But it was something that Nida had sparked though Ignis hadn't mentioned that part to his beloved either.

"Well after we get you a good solid wardrobe I'm sure they will simply think of you as one of their own of sorts." And if not, they'd answer to Ignis, but he didn't say anything about that.

But the advisor shook his head, trying to allay the lad's fears. "I am the one offering Mono. There are no strings, no favours or paybacks are required. And while you may be as you say 'a random kid', acts of kindness never go out of style." Another smile was leveled at the boy. "And who knows? Maybe one day you yourself can do a favour for someone else here. I believe the expression is 'paying it forward' as it were."
