Arkady had felt someone coming before they'd actually arrived. Someone familiar and yet not fully familiar. That seemed to happen to her a lot so she never really thought too much on it. Ever since her accident at fifteen she'd gotten kinda used to forgetting things. And people. And the future. Or remembering the future but forgetting the now. Sometimes there was just too much to keep track of. Sometimes there was too little but it felt too heavy. Either way though it lead to some slight confusion on her part. Confusion followed by a bright smile when she finally thought she definitely recognized Syeira. Or maybe she was just excited about the vodka. It could go either way.

"Oh, thank you!" She clapped her hands with slightly less enthusiasm than she usually might. The weight of what she'd seen still felt very oppressive. "Were you looking for me? Why?"
